Sean John Unforgivable is a fragrance collection today and not just one bottle of mens cologne. Launched
in 2006, Sean 'Diddy' Combs and David Apel professed an idea to create the perfect mens scent.
Not so 'brute' as many mens colognes, Diddy and Apel wanted to give men a new scent that could be appreciated by
men and seduce women's nostrils.
The two went on to launch their idea through Estee Lauder in 2006. The 3 well respected fashion and fragrance powerhouses
combined to re-invent how cologne was smelled. Not only how mens colognes were smelled, but also how it was seen.
Sean John Unforgivable's boxing and container were also a luxury, eye-catching presentation.
A huge hit amongst the young trendy man, Diddy's cologne spread rampidly across states in the US. The men that
initially wore the Sean John Unforgivable cologne got such an amazing response from women, others started to follow suit.
In fact, many women were quoted saying Unforgivable for men was their new favorite cologne.
By the end of 2006, the consumer response was so great, Sean John unforgivable broke fragrance sales records. The
mens cologne sold more than not only any other mens fragrances, but also womens perfumes. That leveraged Diddy's
unforgivable for men to the center of any cologne talks that moment forward. Re-inventing the way all brands looked
at fragrances, Unforgivable became the #1 fragrance in the world in 2006.
